It's about time I give you guys a tour of the new neighborhood, don't you think? We moved well over a month ago, and it's been a long time since I showed you around our old stomping grounds.
I'm proud (and totally shocked, I won't lie) to announce that we completely unpacked and got settled within two weeks of the move. Considering we never unpacked all the boxes at our old place... score one for the good guys.
I have some seriously grandiose aspirations in terms of a gallery wall down our super long (albeit it slightly narrow) hallway. And since Jenni set the standard pretty dang high, I have my work cut out for me.
PS: on a totally unrelated topic, *cough* if you happen to come across some super cute and inexpensive vintage picture frames randomly laying around your house... I may be able to take them off your hands. You know. Just in case you're looking to unload them. *cough*
All in all, we've adapted pretty dang well to the move. The Captain has learned to maneuver the elevator without losing his mind, and I've learned to resist 'unexpectedly' dropping into the coffee shop directly downstairs from us every single morning.
Yeah. Julie, the coffee junkie lives upstairs from a coffee shop. Nothing good can come from this.
