Confession: I was a band nerd from sixth grade until I completed my undergraduate degree.
That's 11 years of band goodness.
Of course, because I'm the overachiever that I am, I should also mention that I took a gazillion years of piano lessons on top of that.
... and I spent the better part of my 20s going to as many concerts as my meager paycheck would allow. At its height, I went to more than 40 concerts in one year. Yeah.
So when I say that music is important to me.... it's really important to me.
I take great pride in my compilations too. Road trips? I've got them covered. Workout mixes? Oh yeah. Most definitely. I probably spend more time working on the playlist than I do actually working out in the gym. Oops.
Since recommitting to a healthier lifestyle, I've realized that my iPod playlists haven't really been updated since... oh... early 2009. It was most definitely time to move some stuff around and make some changes.
If you're not a master playlist putter-togetherer like myself, I hope you'll find this useful. It's roughly three hours long. If you can't find an hour's worth of stuff you like in here... well... maybe you should reevaluate your taste in music. Because this stuff is awesome. PS: I even put some 'slow jams' at the end for a cool down. You're welcome.
And -- BONUS!
I'm giving away a $25 iTunes gift card to help one lucky winner start creating their own workout playlist. Because happy playlist = happy gym goer = happy life. Or something like that.
